Attendance last Friday was noticeably down. I am beginning to think Saturday might be a better day to have our coops. We may be far too early for most North Americans, still at work on a Friday. How would that suit our regulars?

Hi BG, Frankly Friday or Saturday is good for me but by the time I've eaten, driven big kids around, roped little kid into his bed, paid attention to the wife and uncorked the Scotch its always after 10pm BST here. Oh yeah, enjoying 4.09m by the way  |

Thanks for your input arthur. I have to agree with you. The engine sounds in 4.09m mods do it for me. They have put so much life back in the game.

Hi BG, I'm amazed as to why we do not have more players. I've been online for about 5 years and these Friday Night Co-ops are superb. Maybe there are many who consider joining but fear that they will be humiliated on the il2 forum if they don't make a zillion points?? These co-ops involve people who enjoy this sim and are not searching for points. Trust me guys..this is worthwhile  Best Regards, MB_Avro. |

I think you are right Avro. I think some of the guys think they might not be good enough. It has never bothered me! I have to be the worst shot of all the people I fly with and I seldom survive a coop. What I like about UBI Zoo coops is how gentlemanly everyone is and how our wing m8s protect us. I also continue to see consideration from the other side.

I agree with both of you. Before I went online for the first time last January I always thought it was a bunch of hackers just waiting to make an example of me. Hah! (I had a bad experience gaming online my first time long ago and never tried it again...) But the guys flying this sim seem to follow some code of conduct of good sportsmanship made by the real heros of WWII. Or is it more of a guideline? In any case, it's always a pleasure to get shot down. Well, sometimes I'd rather last longer, but it's still fun.... Snack aka: WBK  |

If not for my 2cd shift evening job, I'd be there. Makes me late for HH saturdays and leave early for DD sundays. If you guys ever do stuff earlier in the day I can do it (or on mondays or tuesdays). ------------------------------  Sleep tight tonight, your Air Force is......awake! |

Well, I swapped my regular visit to the pub from Friday to Saturday for this, so I should be able to swap it back...

Saturday would be great... too many of us west coasters just can't make it in time... plus I'm sure there are a fair amount of mountain time and so on that can't get on in time.
