Hey gents. FYI I have had one of the barbs on my cpu waterblock to spring a slight leak. This is the reason I haven't been around much over the last ten days or so. Blairgowrie (aka BG) has cranked up a Teamspeak server to use since my rig will be down until I get that barb replaced. So he will post the TS server info here sometime today hopefully so you guys can be sure to have enough time to connect to his TS server and make sure all is well.
Also, I just want to let you all know, & whoever started complaining about our original thread cluttering up the "oh so busy MM forum", that it was me that created shortcuts to our original thread to all of our forums. The reason for doing so is because I felt like this is an unprecedented event that was taking flight so to speak. I mean come on...at some point in time over the past five years or more we all at some point in time have had issues, problems, words, arguments, ect., with one another. To the point in some cases that the feeling was we didn't like each other or one another very much. And now to have an open afternoon\evening where we are willing to come together for a time of friendship & comradrie to fly missions with one another, imo, is a beautiful thing and "unprecedented". Hence I felt it important to let all of our members know about this ubizoo flight session. I mean not everyone takes the time to visit any other forum except the one they are the busiest in. I just wanted everyone to know what was happening in an effort to get as many as would be interested to fly together.
Mind you, especially the ones that complained about the shortcut to the original thread, this is not an apology, not in the least. It really erks the shiite out of me anyone would complain about this given the magnitude of the effort & event. I may be the only one here that thinks that this coming together of our members for a Ubizoo flight session is such a big deal, an important happening. I hope I am wrong about this. It is my hope that we all see this as something other than the ordinary get together of a few m8s for some coops. Given our past, that, imo, makes the Ubizoo Friday Coops an unprecendented event. And one that hopefully will be a regular event for many Fridays to come.
So if you haven't had an opportunity or are just skeptical about joining, please do give it a shot. It is good fun with good friends. I believe you will thoroughly enjoy your time spent.
See you guys in a couple weeks. Doing the vacation thing in PA visiting our daughter & grandson. They do have a computer but it isn't stout enough to run the sim. I did install the TS client software last time we were up there so I will probably pop in on you guys just to say hello and to have a few laughs.
