At the museum where I flew on Collings Foundation B-17,I met,talked for a couple of hours and had my pic made with Charlie Mohrle,a P-47 pilot who flew 97 missions;received the Distinguished Flying Cross,and an Air Medal with 16 Oak Leaf clusters,4 Battle Stars and a Presidential Unit Citation.He did this flying the P-47 "Touch of Texas",which is closest,in the rear in the pic below.
 I'll post the pic when it's developed,and put to disc,as it was taken with a high-end Nikon film camera.  This is me with the P-47 pilot Charlie Mohrle(mentioned earlier) he flew 97 combat missions in " Touch of Texas",receiving:The Distinguished Flying Cross,an Air Medal with 16 oak leaf clusters,European Theater Medal with 4 combat stars,and the Presidential Unit Citation.
