I've seen a lot worse. Why don't you like it Owl? I know the avionics are difficult to learn, and modern(ish) jets are not much fun dogfighting, but I quite like it. Nice graphics too. I'd buy it just for the A-10. Actually, in many ways the A-10 is a later-generation Sturmovik. Built for a similar role, and with a similarly wide range of ordnance. A bit more complex and expensive though. |

Yep. Good graphics. Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way home, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV. |

If you have your game modded, but in previous posts, youve shunned modding. So, no in the stock game, it isnt flyable. |

Looks like a problem with your pc, not the game.

This is what got me intrested in teh Go-229:
I'l stick with the Pe-3bis. I like REALY heavy aircaft. And It seems to be very advanced. I need to make up my mind - you are all thinking. I know, And I don't need to make thiese decisions, I can always change my mind anytime. Plus, its just a game, who cares what I fly. So, thank you. I'l fly the Pe-3, Go-229, and Do-335, do some weapons testing (setting up guns at . blank range, on the runway...), and just fly them around and see what I think. Considering how remote Yellowknife is, it is surprising how busy the airport there can get, as long as the weather cooperates, that is... Oh, and Owl: like the others said, your PC graphics hardware is causing that problem, not the game itself. Just visit the LockOn forums and see the screenshot threads. ------------------------------ "It breaks my heart, but I am almost certain that raaaid will get the Nobel Prize in physics before we get the Avenger in PF." -- Zeus-cat |

Back to initial question, can any of our Yankee or Canadian friends tell if there are any B-25s, A-26s, B-17s etc. still used for fire-bombing over your vast forests nowadays?
Cheers - Art P.S. - I know about both Martin Mars boats, however I'm just curious about ex-USAAF machinery doing the same job. Old warbirds, old race cars (and then young girls |
