I am not Greek, but I grew up with and was practically raised by Greeks. That is one thing I don't remember hearing about. I will have to ask about that.

Unlikely, It seems natural selection will create more stupid people. Check the latest scientific theories on two divergent races of Human's over time, one of them the Genetic underclass.
