I'll have to get something - the specs I borrowed give me a headache after a few minutes. Veryhappy

Starting to look the part - just a little filling and sanding needed. Nice fit to parts, not fantastically detailed, but should match in with the Corgis. Nose not fixed yet. Pilot looks at home already. Just the undercart (down), Hispano's and sticky up thing offset in front of cockpit to go. Saving the canopy till undercoated.

Looks good LF! I was going to warn you about the fit of the nacelles, but I see you've already figured that bit out. Lightning progress, m8!

Well, having two new toys to play with - a Whirly and an airbrush - does spur me on. Smile

That Airfix relaunch hasn't done my social life any favours, Buglord! Truly indulging in a bit of a second childhood. Smile Party Hat

Some elementary n00bness creeping in on the Whirly - should have left the props off till later. Still all good experience for the others Whirlies...oh, yes, there will be others - lots of others. Big Grin

Now then, I'm after alternative markings for the other Whirly squadron - much more colourful options, thanks for one choice decals Airfix. Angry

So what are my options, chaps? Aftermarket sets? Letraset? Waiting until I've built up a vast collection of lettering in my spares tin? There's a limit to just what I can do chopping a spare letter 'P' about. All help and advice appreciated.

Tricky one, found this though...

http://www.scale-models.co.uk/...ion-letters-etc.html

Other wise its finding the same font printing some out, spray the colour on the model, lstick the lettering on, spray the camo over the top, peel off masking... Sounds simple, but will no doubt be a real bugger to do... Tongue

L_F PM me your email please, I've got some things that you might be able to use... Wink2

Now if, in the folding, I ESP the tesseract a half twist around myself and-

Cheers, old chum - pm sent. Thumbs Up

Apparently you can rub down letraset on to bits of unused decal film and treat it like a common transfer with water...hmmmmm....

You can buy decal paper for lasers or inkjets then print your own, obviously you will struggle with white so you can but decal sheet in white then you need to trim them closely after printing... you can buy the paper off ebay or from the likes of littlecars.co.uk

E.G, but Google making decals
http://www.mcgpaper.com/modeldecals.html

Ideally you would have an Alps printer so you could print your own ( it does white as well) I have 2, but they do not like doing down to 1/72 scale and colours can be a bit of a problem on some shades..... larger areas are fine, but the small bits forget it on 1/72, doing a Rolls Royce 1/72 Spit decal at the moment

Here are some of my trials for the Chinook sheet I am doing for the 1/35th scale Trumpeter model.
please note they will appear dark on this and be missing the white areas as I never ran the white through the printer.

And my sheet so far (WIP) Smile

Hullo folks. I have beet all too busy with my job (and I was very ill about 2 weeks) but now I have returned baack to real business.

Lots of great models here lately. Love your BF JG. Good work with the Bf 110 Crimea. Beware your six Buglord, because I'm building a Zero right now. And Kimura, this is something to match your HOTchKISS... (Pz II C from polish campaign)

Cheers SheerLuck
