i try playing multiplayer on the game and it says i need an ip address than i go and try to play on ubi, and its tellin me something bout my url settings...

Can you be more specific about the messages you are getting?

I do not think that the Ubi Game Service is working anymore for GR (I recently saw Black Thorn and iL2 when someone posted a link to it in the iL2 forums). All Seeing Eye does not work anymore either.

There are 2 ways to find games still, Xfire shows servers and Alpha Squad still has a server up and that IP can be found at GR.net (as well as gamer posted IPs when someone posts one).

I use UBI.com to connect to games, as well as Xfire. The in game server list isn't really a server search engine like other games. If you find a server you like on Xfire or in UBI.com, just copy the ip address and manually add to the ingame server list. As for the UBI.com Game Lobby not working, it may have something to do with your firewall.

Ubi game service is working just fine. Had several evenings on there lately. Could use some more coop servers up though.

Hey Tink. Do you have an installation file for Ubi's Game Service around anywhere?

I did not install UBI when I reinstalled GR. Maybe 2 weeks back decided to try it out for a few games with a buddy. We went to multiplayer and hit the tab for play on UBI.Com and was asked if we wanted to install UBI services, all went just as it used to do, no issues.

UBI setup program is found in your GR folder though, also on all the discs if you explore them.

Ubi.com has updated their game server, by which the most of us are having truobles with play online. But, actually it's working!

LOL What a joke I have been playing GR about 9 years now. Un-installing and a reistall does not help. It is not any of are pc's or the program that needs fixed. It's UBI Game lobbys.
They shut them down trying to get player to stop joining the older games so they can put other new ones up. It's UBI not supporting the games that is the problem. I say we all just stop buying UBI Supported games all together.
