is ghost recon for pc gamepad compatable?

Gamepads are not supported by the game. However, I have read of several gaming devices that are. I have forgotten all but one, which is mentioned in the link below. If somehow you get a gamepad to work, please state how as many people would like to know. Most players use the keyboard/mouse combo. A five button optical mouse is nice.

Gamepads suck. To get the full experience from GR, use the Mouse/Keyboard.

Oh man do I disagree.......... there are several gamepads out there that work great with GR. They may not be in the gamepad "realm" that some think of, but they are surpurb for this and other FPS games.

My first was the Nostromo n50 it beat playing with a keyboard hands down. Several programable buttons a sort of mini keyboard

The one I am playing with currently, is made by microsoft or rather was. It the MS strategic Commander. It was made by MS for games like AOE and such. It is surpurb for first person shooters, everyone I have spoken to that uses it swears by it.

Just today I ordered the next Nostromo gamepad the n52 It looks even better than thier original one.

Any of those as well as one made by thrustmaster (haven't tried it it's pretty pricy and its just plain HUGE) would be great for this game or any other FPS for that matter.
