I have been a Loyal support of UBI soft for many years and loved their titles. Now I see that they release Ghost Recon for free but you can only play it if you live in the US!

You know what, if Ubi Soft only wants to Cater for Americans they can keep their games as I will not buy another one of their titles again! I think that this is a bias statement they are making and I know many other people the world over feel the same. Why will you only provide the game free to people in the US? What is wrong with the rest of the world? Have we not supported your game titles? Do we not also deserve to get something free for our support of your products?

Good bye Ubi Soft .... may the Americans treat you well!

It was a really stupid move by them

It was downloaded a LOT by non americans
and the ones that got in quick
were able to install and play
then bright sparks made the change to
FORCE a FREE game to USA only
thus LIMITING how many people can
play the FREE GAME.

Its not un common in the global world
of tech and media

Movies and tv shows come out MONTHS/YRS
ahead in USA before the rest of the world
thats if half of the media reach's other
places before the SHOWS are CANCALED

It would of been better if GR1 PC
was released as FREEWARE like the free
exp pack for R6

But knowing that a lot of companys put
money and stupid close minded choices
before reality and customers its nothing
to be un expected

Ubishafts again

Ubi released GR for the US Memorial Day weekend for free. It had to be installed during that 3 day weekend. FYI, there are those who are from outside the US that did get to install it and play it.

Don't worry, they've done plenty over the years to make Americans think they are totally Eurocentric. I guess it all evens out in the end.
