hi all, i know cheats are terrible but i want to play with invincibilty for a while for fun!
I'm playing the original ghost recon on a laptop, the cheats are entered by using ''[Keypad Enter] to display the console window''. I'm using a normal dell laptop and i can't seem to get this window open, can someone explain what i need to do please?

Remap the key to something different. I believe I mapped it to F10.

My Laptop uses the ~ key by default for GR1 console.

Either sit there pressing each button until it appears, or remap it in the options first.

ok thanks, whats shows up in the 'console window', how do i know which one it is?

Click the Toggle Console line pointed to by the cursor. Click Map Key then press the key that you wish to map the console to. Once done, click OK, then click Accept to accept the changes to have your key properly mapped.

ok i have this sorted, the problem is, i open the console window, type in a cheat like 'superman' but it doesnt do anything. do i need to be on a specific page in the console window to enter the cheat or what?

Once you type in the cheat, like superman, press enter, there should be a response like superman on. Esc will close the console window.

thanks for the help, I'm almost there. I don't have an enter key, I'm on a laptop, I've tried typing in the code and hitting return but still nothing. what can i use for an enter key? nearly there!

What brand and model laptop do you have? I have never seen keyboard, desktop or laptop, not have an enter key.

Can you take a pic of your keyboard so I can see it?

I'm almost there, what button do I use for enter?!

The button under the backspace button is your enter key (I see that it is a Dell no less).

This is what the console looks like when open and a cheat enabled.



Type in the cheat, hit enter then press ESC to get back out of the console.

is graw 2 any better than graw original?

is graw 2 any good i own GRAW but it has few servers online how about graw 2?
but GRAW 1 sucks for the record

I haven't played it, but from what I have seen, there are still people playing it and even better, making mods for it. Mods and more info can be found at GR.net.
