Apparently the ubi.com Master Server has issues, is abandoned, or is pending being shut down depending on who you listen to; and connectivity to ubi.com with Ubisoft's Server Browser is an on again, off again proposition.

Even the defunct version of The All-Seeing Eye (if you kept your installed files) could find OGR games till a month or so ago, but now turns up nothing.

Currently (24 July 2009) I see only four OGR games on the ubi.com Server Browser, but hear reports there are as many as ten showing on Xfire.

Can anyone corroborate the status of Ubi.com OGR Master Server? Does Xfire in fact show more active games then Ubisoft's own Server Browser? Is anyone aware of any other Server Browsers that work well with OGR?

I'd rather not use GameSpy Arcade because of all the adware, or Xfire because of the kernel level drivers it installs -- but if we're getting down to only those two alternatives, and/or the Master Server for OGR is headed the way of Rogue Spear, these are dark days for the Clancy games...
