I'v searched and I cannot find anything that addresses these issues.

1: Dump file to HAWX.exe error, thats not a copy and paste of the error but generally you know what it is. Randomly shutting the game down and not saving your progress.

2: Online consistency.
One second there will be 6 games to join, I'll join one it'll say an error has occurred and there will be no more games. I know they are there, but the game acts like theres no servers to join.

3: Suckness.
So, you can do Join Quickmatch and try to bypass the server selection area. But it just puts me in a server by myself that isn't visible to anyone else.
Or you get "An error has occurred".


At one time my game did work, slowly it turned into a piece of ****. I LOVE playing online, I want to shoot people down right now.

But the game has so many problems going on that are not officially addressed its starting to **** me off.

Some people have a 100% flawless experence, others have problem-ridden experence.
Don't start on "Oh you have a virus" or "oh, your having connection problems."

My connection is fine.
I have no viruses.
I have reinstalled the game twice.
I have updated Sound and Video drivers.
My firewall is fine, the game acts the same when the firewall is turned off.

I want the game to work, but it doesn't.
The game needs patch's...

My experience hasn't been "flawless" but the problems I've had have been relatively minor.

You did leave out your specs though...

1 : Do you know exactly when the game shut down? For most of the people the shut down is always at the same time. Did you update your game to the version 1.02 by using the GameUpdater installed with your game? (Not by downloading the patch from Ubisoft's website and installing it manually.)

2 : That's a problem with the Ubisoft connection. You have to exit up to the Multiplayer menu, click on LAN, escape back, click on Online, login and you will see the servers again. You got to do this each time you join and leave a game.

3 : It is related to the previous problem. If you can't see the servers, the others can't see yours.

By the way, you should consider using GArena for an alternative solution to Ubisoft's servers.

I am also having a problem with hawx. Whenever I play the game I have the sound of the engines and the missles but the machine gun and voices are silent. All volume is maxed, If you have any suggestions any help would be appreciated.

On top of what oOMadMaxOo and others have suggested, try booting into selective startup. It would be good to rule out any background processes interfering with the game. Also, if you are behind a router, try connecting directly into the modem. Obviously, if you've done this already just ignore this suggestion.

get rid of your friend list and change your port...someone on your list doesnt want you to play right now after 24 hours ill bet youre on

Does anyone answer these problems, because I also cant hear what the heck the story is in game... only my engines and missiles.

Did you happen to try changing the windows sound setup to Stero? If not, try changing it to Stero and see if you get the same problem. Post your dxdiag info too if you still get the same problem.

To post DirectX Diagnostic information do the following.

1. Click Start
2. Click Run (if you are on Vista, click into the 'Search Textfield')
3. Type DXDIAG then press ENTER
4. When the DirectX Diagnostic loads, click the "Save All Information" Button.
5. Save the text file to your desktop
6. Locate the text file on your desktop and double-click the file to open it
7. Click on Edit
8. Click on Select All
9. Click on Edit
10. Click on Copy (make sure all of the text is highlighted when you click Copy)
11. Right-click into the text field of your forum post and click on Paste
