Motherboard: Asus P5K (P35 chipset)

I see that nVidia just released a 182.46 beta driver. See if that makes a difference.

I just tried the 182.46 Beta driver from Nvidia. Doesn't seem to resolve the issue.

Hello guys,

I've played the game and I've stumbled on the tearing and stuttering problem too.

What i've did is to disable the vsync option and that worked ok for my system.

The game runs smooth now.

Hope this helps.

I admit the amount of stuttering is reduced with VSYNC off. However the stuttering is still very noticable. Additionally, I see an increased amount of graphic glitches on screen that shouldn't be happening and a good amount of tearing.

Hi,

Mine also has issues with DX10. It will play DX9 as normal with FPS over 120 on high.

It occasionally freezes for anywhere up to a second and it also stutters and will crash out. FPS on DX10 is still good average 65.

Specs are

Intel 8400 not oc
MSI P35 NEO-FR-2 mobo
XFX 260 GTX Black Edition(182.06 driver)
4GB Ballistix 8500
Vista Ultimate 64. SP1
Corsair 650TX

Getting Extreme Stuttering before i can even access my profile. As soon as i press enter at the "Press Enter to Begin" screen. Then it is stutters/lags to the point where i think it takes about 5-9 minutes before it changes from the Press Enter screen to a black screen (as if going to the profiles page. Even if i press Ctrl+alt+del, it takes about 7 minutes to even see the task manager option. It eventually freezes completely and forced to turn off/reset my computer manually.

Now, sometimes i am able to get all the way to load a game up, just have to wait a minute after Press Enter screen, and it loads up. (Suttering and laggy menu, but none the less it starts up) but once the game loads up, i get stuck on the Loading screen, i hear the sound as if the game was playing, but video is still frozen on loading/waiting screen.

System Specs:
EVGA Nvidia nForce 780i SLI motherboard
Nvidia GeForce 8800GTS 512MB (XX) SLI
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3.2 Ghz
Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit
4 GB Ram
