Hopefully some people will realize that the game is supported and that it just takes time to make patches...

THANK YOU!!! I applied the patch and the biggest difference for me is the deadzone. Holy kabolie WHAT A CHANGE!!! WOOO HOOO!!! I feel like I have much more precision, which makes using my guns more effective. An anti-cheat service would be nice, until one appears I'm simply not crazy about wading in to multi-player. Being so very easily amused though, the single-player missions will keep me going for ages in the meantime. Maybe a hotfix for the DLC for PC would be nice too. Overall, good work UBI!!! My CH fighterstick went from 25 degree deadzone to less than 5 degrees. Since real fighter aircraft have their sticks set for 4 +- 2, this is very satisfying. I think some folks are looking for a stick "SLEW" function like the Original F22 game in arcade mode. Sims do not normally use Slew mode. Just tested my new IR4 and it is quite excellent. No lag times on my system (4.5GH OC). It is quite comparable to the 360 visuals we used on the Sims at NAS Miramar before TG moved to Yuma. Now ... if I can just figure out how to keep players from AA' ing me a few seconds after entering a game ... I'm set ... (LOL) &

I did notice that I still have to press Ctrl-Alt-Del to exit the game on dx9 and dx10 running vista64 still but I assume that fix will come on a future patch...

When can we expect the Steam version to receive the update? Or are we supposed to download the digital version patch (which I doubt since Steam updates games automagically)?

In free flight mode, if you press Esc to pause the game, the "Friends [something]" and "Restart Mission" buttons overlap each others.

the patch did not fix the biggest glaring error for the PC and that is the constant dumps to desktop or frozen screens. I'm finished with this garbage.

So much for the patch fixing problems. Still won't run in DX10 Still get the same slide show I had before.

how does one I take a screen shot ?

Here is a list off thing I have found so far:

1. When I browse other aircraft, while in the hanger, the PC suddenly hangs, seem I have to switch it off and do a cold reboot.
2. Sometimes freeze just in the middle of game play, have to reboot (CTRL-ALT-DEL doesn't seem to have any effect)
3. Get double cursors on the screen, yeah when I move the mouse, they both move.
4. I get a lot of screen flickering, when I browse pilot stats, planes, in the hanger, etc. but during game play.

When I play the game in single player mode non of the above problem appears and the game runs smooth, when I hit the password to go online, the trouble starts.

My PC stats:
Dell Precision 450.
Dual Xeon 2.6 Mhz, with Hyperthreading on each Processor
4 Gb RAM
Nvidia 7950 GT using driver version 185.81
Windows XP SP3.

Well here's my problem. The black screen on start up remains. I have it patched to v.1.02 and I have browsed all nine pages of this forum to find a fix and no solutions have been presented that work, not even changing the .ini file.

I have Windows XP, My Docs is not altered
I meet all minimum requirements with DX9c
I have a 2.4ghz quad-core chip
4gb of DDR2 ram
a GeForce 7600GT with the most up to date drivers


The demo worked the game does not...

I had the same problem, I had to switch off the dual display for the game to work.

Also try disable nView, I had trouble with that as well.

have you tried the 185.81 drivers ?
They were relased a few days ago by nVidia
