Hi, I've got the P.C version of H.a.w.x, i had it installed b4 with some problems finding servers etc, but other than that it worked fine,
I then lost my install to a hdd error and had to reformat that drive, now i've reinstalled hawx BUT..
when I try to play online nothing happens, it won't even bring up the login and cd key window!
as any1 else had this problem, or know how to sort it, uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and really annoyed with this, so much was really thinking bout breaking the disk in half yesterday,
Is the hardware (other than for the HDD) and driver configuration on the current system the same as that which you were using when HAWx first worked?
Have you also tried installing the HAWx upgrade. You may have to go into the main HAWx directory and run a cryptically named program called gu-MCE which appears to be the gAMEuPDATER-MCE whatever that is. When I installed HAWx on my Vista system it didn't even give me anything in the programs menu and I had to search in the "Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's H.A.W.x" directory

Yes, I've had the same and it was my firewall. As youve reinstalled twice either your firewall has default settings or you have to disable it. In my case on a linksys router, I disabled the firewall and stil couldnt play online, had to use my old router without firewall. You need TCP ports 3155 and 3163 open, 3074-3174 TCP/UDP open and 1001,7788 udp opening. Search on google for help with your router
Some routers are finicky it seems. I know that I couldn't get my Xbox 360 to run using my older Linksys Wireles A/B/G router as it would run in NAT2. Switched to a more game compatible router ... Dlink DIR-655 and everything PC, PS3, Xbox 360 can run games simultaneously without problem.
On PC, disabling firewalls may help as well, but I just reconfigure the firewalls to allow HAWx to run.
In regards the directory and the particular gu-MCE file, I'm running a Vista set up. I don't know what the directory and file configuration looks like for an XP system
