I'll have to see if any other games I have are on there, since I happen to have this game for Xbox. Once again it comes back to bite me in the a$$. Can we see come comparison screens?

I come across this awhile ago, back when they never had true support for parallel lines.

It's good to know they now provide a driver: parallel lines present! Unfortuantly I still haven't tried this out yet!

But I cannot wait until I can find the time Smile

Its still a WIP (Work In Progress).

But to see its (almost) full potential with what it can do to change the games graphics take a look at this! (San Andreas BTW...)

IAint got any pics of this mod for DPL just yet because there is still a few things that need improving but i'll update you when it starts to make a hugh difference!

PS.
If you know what your doing I would reccomend you to try this in a few other games!

I totally agree, and i just hope that this project (for D:PL) will soon be finished!!

as for D3, they couldn't upgrade the graphics too much due to the extremely bad textures... Frown

EDIT:
Oops...
put couldn't instead of wouldn't... just read my next comment to see what i meant... :|

It wasn't the textures that stopped this plugin working on driv3r.

From what I can tell it's something in the engine!

Textures should make no different, the textures are pretty much the same they were in driver: parallel lines. Parallel Lines did have higher quality textures but this plugin wouldn't still work if they were really bad in parallel lines.

This plugin doesn't only focus on improving textures, it also increases the shaders and reflections.

sorry i put couldn't instead of wouldn't...

they wouldn't want to take the time to upgrade the graphics with D3 because the textures would still look bad...

I hope I said it right this time... Smile

Just look at Sa's textures compared to D3... SA looks like crysis compared to D3, because D3 has texture corruption on almost every surface (especially the miami cars...)

I dont hate D3... but if i had the choice to upgrade any graphics, then it would definately be the textures that i would upgrade... anything else would just be an additional bonus.
