Yes, that would be great! Although, I really hope that he has his way of talking that he had in Driver 1, or the way TK talks. If it was done that way, then Tanner would be cool again to most people. So basically, Tanner needs to joke around a little bit, curse, and be serious at the right times (like TK or Tanner himself from Driver 1). Now I was thinking, it might be the craziest idea. But it should work. I remember how John Cena (or Assaultmachine1) saying that the next Driver game should be a "Prequel" to Driver 1. So a prequel to Driver 1 huh? I think I have just the idea. OK, you play as Tanner in 1976 at age 22. This is when he's first on the NYPD. This game is focused mainly on law enforcement and driving. But it will have all the features you'd expect from a free-roam game (vehicles you can operate are unlimited, customization is deep, you can buy guns and ammo, earn and spend money, enter buildings, and more). The game should be set in a huge and accurate New York. Now it won't be just all of New York City's boroughs, it will have extensions to other places nearby, you'll see that the map will have Westchester County, NY; Newark, NJ; some of Fairfield County, CT; and even the Hudson valley in New York State. Now here's something else I came up with, don't like New York huh? Well, not to worry, if you do good in the game, you can go on a "vacation" to other cities in America (like Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Diego, or Las Vegas) just so you can take it easy. And all of the other cities will have the same features of New York, although there are no missions there, but there are minigames to earn extra cash and fun. If Driver 5 were like this, then maybe it will beat GTA once and for all. "New York is the coolest place in the world! From Connecticut and Long Island to New Jersey, from the Hudson Valley down to Staten Island, and all points in between, this is my backyard."-Driverman2006 |

That's seems like a good idea.
And I also remember that you wanted Driver to take place in the 70s. Is Devil May Cry 4 out? Yes! Now what does Dante say?..Oh..LET'S ROCK BABY! |

No, I thought I wanted it set in the present (like a sequel to Driv3r or something). But that 70s music and style is so cool and addicting (especially when I play the 1978 part of D:PL)! Here's what I prefer. I would like to have the next big Driver game (if not a prequel to Driver 1). I'd like it to be a sequel to Driv3r set in the present day. This way we can drive old and new vehicles, use old and new weapons, and listen to some older and newer music. This way we can all get what we want. "New York is the coolest place in the world! Driver needs to exceed our expectations for what's possible in an action driving game. Reflections and Ubisoft: deliver a great driving/on foot game.
-------------- Next Driver: Interior DASH view, Free Roam TAG MODE chases, Miles of Backroads, Intense Speed-Edge of your seat Action, MAJOR Crash Impacts, day/night cycle, tons of customizable options, lots of stunts, ON FOOT in FPS view/overthe shoulder RE4 style, sportbikes, more car camera views, "Drop a RAMP" Cheat, fun vehicle chases where THE CAR is the Weapon, not a gun... |
