Good response. I'm sure Reflections will be going for the realism this time. As far as driving, I can keep it on all fours throughout most chases, just when I hit the ramps and want to corkscrew the car tends to land on it's roof all too often when it looked like it was going to end up upright.
Play Driver 1, hit a ramp slightly off, or turn too hard and you'll be on your side in no time. -------------- Next Driver: Interior DASH view, Free Roam TAG MODE chases, Miles of Backroads, Intense Speed-Edge of your seat Action, MAJOR Crash Impacts, day/night cycle, tons of customizable options, lots of stunts, ON FOOT in FPS view/overthe shoulder RE4 style, sportbikes, more car camera views, "Drop a RAMP" Cheat, fun vehicle chases where THE CAR is the Weapon, not a gun... |

That's what I like, the realistic physics of what a car/vehicle would do in those circumstances. When you accomplish the feat, you know that you've really accomplished something.
I have Midnight Run which let's you drive 1000mph down a street and make a 500mph turn LOL! Flip it and it levels out - wreck it and just click the RESET button and keep going! That's okay for Midnight Run and others, but when I want a TRUE-FELL, realistic experience - IT'S TIME FOR DRIVER! |

Ever since the release of dpl I always wished there were a Film Director, even with all that traffic and with a highly popular pc version out they would be mad not to include it. Remember the humble PC is way more powerful than the consoles so cpu usage wouldn't be a problem.
I think UBISOFT should get a big bag of money out and fund reflections interactive to create an awesome film director patch, as well as a multiplayer patch because these where the two most important things removed from the game. Think about what you could do with multiplayer and a film director, it would be so awesome if in two months Reflections Interactive and UBISOFT had created a patch which enabled us to do both things. You could really plan out your movies. Then I would want to buy 8 copies of Driver: Parallel Lines and patch them with this patch and go to a lan party and tell everyone what I want them to do in acting and then we could set up massive movies which would be way more popular that what you could do with "The Sims 2" and games like that where you have the ability to set up your own little movies. Then we go on to the point about including the most missed out feature, the tweening... recently I made a post on the Driver Madness forums explaining what I won't in the area of tweening camera angles you can see that by using this link = http://www.drivermadness.net/main/viewtopic.php?t=498 and then I worked on a video spending around 45minurtes trying out placing over 200 cameras in DRIV3R to make that tween effect and it didn't come out as planned but you can download/view that by using the following link = http://www.drivermadness.net/main/dload.php?action=file&file_id=101 We are really missing out on the best here, and some things that would really make the series popular and the developers have just missed these little elements which could make all the difference. I think it would be so awesome to be a part of there team and just express some of these Film Director ideas as it would be really awesome. So here are those links again: Film Director Tweening [INFO] D3 TWEEN VIDEO [download] |

Hi driver_madness!
I'm just not sure about this. Hopefully something will happen... |

In my last post I forgot to mention the main one thing I was going to talk about.
If we could find a professional who knew a lot about memory hacking it is possible that we can create some sort of Film Directory however we would have to control the camera and our driving at the same time. Or... I'm not sure about this part but it depends on the memory in dpl but it may be possible to capture the vehicles movements and sort of have dpl windowed and making little films. and on this idea it could be possible to set up cameras and set up where cars are played and everything like that. The traffic cars as well as the peds all have to be in the games memory so we could control it all from the memory. However there are very few people on this planet which would know how to do this or something similar to this like the ToCA Cam Hack tool found on a few games. If only someone could do this. But Reflections we pray to you that you make a "Online" and "Film Director" patch. |

It sounds interesting. GTA PC "hackers" were able to create plenty of add ons, like GTAZombies.
-------------- Next Driver: Interior DASH view, Free Roam TAG MODE chases, Miles of Backroads, Intense Speed-Edge of your seat Action, MAJOR Crash Impacts, day/night cycle, tons of customizable options, lots of stunts, ON FOOT in FPS view/overthe shoulder RE4 style, sportbikes, more car camera views, "Drop a RAMP" Cheat, fun vehicle chases where THE CAR is the Weapon, not a gun... |

unfortunately driver: parallel lines doesn't have the fanbase like gta and some other popular titles.
I guess that's why we have to focus on the developers creating a few of these things. |
