I wonder if they'll put some hidden content about the next game in there...

What would be really nice is if graphically they made it more like the PC version, and you could turn up the traffic, but keep the Playstation music

I'll bet they clean up all the jagged edges and make it Hi-Definition, speed up the frame rate maybe so there's no slow down if that's possible?

They really need to bring in the materials for Driver 2 and present it as it should have been, with 30+ FPS, zero pop in or slow down. Then make it hi-def so it's sharp and clear. Is that possible without spending months on such an update?

And Ubisoft needs to bring Driver over to the 360 Arcade besides. I hope this isn't a sign Driver 4 is PS3 exclusive for the first year.

I doubt that. But I also don't know much about other Ubisoft games, do they seem to favor PS3?

And I doubt they'll upgrade anything, its a shame. If we want Driver 1+2 our way we'd have to learn to hack the game, and then still make it playable on different systems if we so choose.

This is great news, as it'll possibly attract newcomers into the Driver franchise, and it may have Driver fans (that missed out on Driver) give it a try. Other than that, it doesn't mean much to me at all since I don't plan on buying another next-gen platform, except when I'm working with my video game career, which will not happen until a few more years. I'll likely still buy games until then, but it'll probably consist mostly of PC games (I'm starting to be a PC gamer too, but am still rightfully a console gamer).

The good news about this game Driver being released? It usually is a way to remind gamers what they enjoyed about the series, so when news of a sequel hits shortly after... Just consider Capcom's release of Bionic Commando on the 360 Arcade and PSN, then see they're releasing a new 3D BC for both next gen consoles.

As for improvments, I don't there there will be many, if any.

It's really hard to say as I've never played a gsme from PSN before.

I hope it'll be improved, too bad me and many others who arn't over 18 and don't have a visa or mastercard as we won't be able to purchase it

If you know an adult with a PSN account over 18 there is an exception.

No, not all, but I think all of the PS1 games there are.

I'd like to see the old Drivers on the 360 Arcade, I'd download them!

It is PSP compatible! Downloaded it today

How does it look compared to the original??? hopefully better, at least in the PS3 which should easily play a PS1 game.

Yeah it's very similar, I don't think there are any big changes. Not that I've noticed at least. But really cool to play on the PSP

Reflections/Ubisoft needs to bring a high res version of Driver 1 with increased framerate to the 360 Arcade.

The fact this game is on PSN is a good sign. Ubisoft gearing gamers up for an upcoming Driver game in 2009 hopefully.
