I e-mailed Narco (the company that is making the music for Driver) and they said Driver will definitley be at E3.

Good News; at last, lets hope its a good un!

If Driver's not at E3 in some form whether a preview video or early demo, I don't know what Reflections is up to, as it's been years since DPL. Granted, great games take time and there was the transition to Ubisoft, so hopefully we'll get something substantial from the E3 show; for Driver fans everywhere.

Currently playing: Wheelman. If you're a Driver fan, looking for driving thrills, ramming cars, plenty of ramps to catch air and loads of action, check out Wheelman, also under Ubisoft. It's almost like a more arcade-like version of Driver Parallel Lines, plenty of fun.

So what happened? No Driver on E3?

Yep, seems it will be still some time, oh well, at least in the gap we can sink our teeth into the joys of wheel man;

Well apparently a DS Version of Driver has been announced.

Called "COP: The Recruit", including a gameplay video and some screenshots.

Madness, are you aware your site is down? If it isn't then its probably just my PC being wierd. Regarding the COP game, its a start, but the programmers must have seriously messed up to miss an opportunity like E3, after the disappointment of NFS Shift, the crowd might have loved Driver The Recruit as I think its called

Maybe they have just started developing Driver: The Recruit . I'm not sure what Narco was thinking when they told 'Emmet6131' that it will defiantly be at E3.

and yeah Driver Madness is temporarily down, shouldn't be much longer than 24 hours. The host is doing some crazy things (I think there moving to another server.

2007 and 2008 no Driver 4 news, fine. But it's now 2009, E3 has passed, and still, not even a hint that the game is making progress. Even Test Drive Unlimited 2 showed a number of screen shots despite not having any official announcement (though they haven't been confirmed from Eden Games).

This better be the best Driver game in the series at the very least, bringing back the best of Driver 1 and 2, but fine tuning it to perfection while adding a lot of new driving action and fun.

Come on Reflections, give us a taste of what you're working on at the very least for the loyal fans who are still here, after 3 years of almost ZERO news........ Other than Ubisoft buying Reflections....

Actually, I think Driver was at E3, although it wasn't announced publicly.

Pfff, sure...

Emmet is sending random emails to ransoms, so you might get some info, but on a more general note; Driving games at E3:
NFS yet again seems to be redefining its self and although it looks alright, I do miss the games of old.
GT5 on the other hand seems worth the wait, and with the incorporation of the WRC, it looks wicked!
Anyone agree, or am I just a topic bumper?

My best advice is this: don't get all hyped about the game imagining what it could be for the next few years. I did that waiting for D3 and was dissapointed. The best thing you can do is forget about it, check up on it now and then. Try to enjoy the time between games doing other stuff than waiting, cause waiting sucks

Heck, I do other things; I mean I am not worried about its release, I am just curious! This is one of my many internet haunts, but its nice to have a lil chat, so are you looking for any games, or enjoying any current games?

Well I've been thinking of buying a PS3 now that the price is down to 299. Pretty much all I've been playing is San Andreas, and after.. 5 years(?) its pretty old.

The only thing holding me back on the PS3 is I've played GTA4 and I don't think its that great, its not an improvement over SA other than graphics. Also I'd have to get a new router because currently this is the only PC in the house getting internet, and I think you need to let the new systems update all sorts of stuff when you get them.

Add on top of that, I really don't know whats out now, I browsed some games at the store, none looked too interesting. I think I've just outgrown games. Either that or I wore out the genre, and I don't really know if I want to invest more time in this habit

But if and when D4/5 comes out, I'd probably upgrade systems just to play it

If nothing is out in the next few months, then it'll be next year.
