I need a favor here
I'm doing gaming accessories design now, I need some information about Racing Wheels, if you guys can help me out. 1. Will you buy a racing wheel? How much you'll pay for that? 2. Any unconvinience about the racing wheels on the market? 3. What are you missing when you play the racing games? 4. Which brand of racing wheel will you buy? Why? 5. Which part of the racing wheel would you like to improve? Thanks a lot, guys! |

1. If I have tested it in the shop, I like it and it is responsive and turns 360 degrees, so a maybe!
2. They should be more realistic for the reasons above and yet have analouge sticks in a logical position so normal game play is still possible, ie walking around on a free roam car game between driving. 3. A true sense of speed, which until now only NFSU1 has provided, I think we need to have more on screen effects rather than focusing on polygon counts! Also, most games I play just seem to have cars which go to fast, a better stepping up of performance is needed! 4. Whichever was cheaper / best suited to my needs 5. Have analogue sticks, feel as real as possible, more like the wheel of a race car like an Enzo or an Atom than an F1 car, and finally not just turn half or a quarter of the way as although that may make it easier for lazy gamers, it just means I always hit full lock when trying to negotiate a tight corner. Good Luck with your design work, |
