After playing Driver: 76 for quite some time I feel the game is perfect.
BUT it just needs one more thing and I'm very disappointed it didn't include it.

I wanted Custom Soundtracks

Overall I think Driver: 76 includes about 14 tracks which we loved from Driver: Parallel Lines. Thing is I got sick of these tracks from overplaying Driver: Parallel Lines.

A wheelman's friend is his music, it helps him get the most out of the road.
and I just wanted to add more to the games collection and psp games arn't easily modified either.

I think music is the most important part of a drive and if your thinking why don't I just play GTA:VCS on PSP with it's custom soundtrack feature well I would but the handling in that game is pretty **** and I cant stand listening to such good music while driving a car with such crappy handling.

Driving shines in Driver and it should be able to shine with any song I like.

Ubisoft lied. Driver 76 WAS going to have customizable soundtracks (the songs on your memory stick), but they're not there on the final release.


The one thing I don't like about Driver 76 is that it has a front-end menu that isolates everything from one-another. Front-end menus suck, they suck all of the fun and magic out of free roaming games.

Yeah, now that you mention it I'm sure they said something about custom soundtracks.

I'm annoyed that it didn't exist.
Like Multiplayer in the PC and Wii Releases of Driver: Parallel Lines.
Whatever Reflections did with their customizable soundtracks it would have been a million times better than Rockstars approach for it on GTA:LCS and VCS as you had to download and install a different application which could only covert cd and not .mp3 files and lets say you had a song on your memory stick and you want to play it in GTA:VCS you have to have the same song again to use it. Using double the space for no reason.

FOr that I'm about to dump VCS in the bin.
Damn! Wish Driver: 76 let me have my own songs.
I would probably have put the entire dpl soundtrack in there.
As well as a few of my own tracks!

I turn the music volume off and listen to what I want from a separate stereo system.
