i think that the ps2 version is better than the pc version because there's a better gameplay and also the graphic on the ps2 seems better than the pc :|

I can't talk about the gameplay cause I didn't play the ps2 version, but did you put the graphics at the max in PC? Cause they are a lot better than ps2

Does the PC DPL have the same graphics as PS2's only in high-resolution? Or have they been re-worked entirely, with new graphics?

No, I wouldn't think that these graphics are completely new. If they were completely new, we wouldn't see the same artistic style of the game. Everything wouldn't look very much like a cartoon and would be more like that in D3, but by looking at the screens of the PC version, I have to say that the textures and many other features from the graphics have been improved, even with the fact that it's still the same DPL, only with a little improvement in the graphics.

The graphics look completly rewritten with new shader models and everything that the standard ps2 just dosen't support. The anti-alias is pretty much improved too.

Overall I think PS2 quality was worse then xbox and then PC being better. I've played all those versions and that's my verdict.

I might re check everything but I'm sure PC version looks best, make sure you have a top pc and put everything on full quality, everything on a slow machine(pc) is quite **** and isn't worth your trouble so it's best to have a good pc first so you can actiate higher textures and things like that.

The PC version got a bad score on Game Rankings, so I think that it was a worse game than the first two ports of DPL, which are the PS2 and Xbox. Also, since the logitech wheel makes it harder to control, there are many new glitches that arose in the PC version (I saw it in a video at You Tube), and with the online play being left out just as in the Xbox and PS2 versions, the only thing that this version does better is the graphics, but the gameplay and controls are more frustrated and the game is even more full of glitches, so I believe that the PS2 and Xbox versions are the best. After all, the original ports are usually still better than the new ones.

i thought it was better and I seen loads of reviews not from the professionals they reviewed it way better. It's mainly the user review that counts not the one with all the power who gets to make it the main review on IGN or Gamespot or something similar to that.

I think there were less glitches, I think that video might have been made by memory hacking because I don't see anyway of making it glitch.

and gameplay is improved, now you don't have to drive to your destination you can just select it on the map and port there if there is ever a marked mission on the map.

and at the end of the game you can choose to repeat one of the missions.

The term PC you are using is too generic to say if the graphics are better on the PS2 than on the "PC".

A PC is a modular machine that can have an inexpensive, lo-res video card installed, rendering poorer looking graphics than the PS2...

...OR...

A PC can have a video card like NVIDIA 7900GTX or 8800GTS/X which blows the PS2/XBOX graphics out of the water...COMPLETELY!

That's pretty much correct, it's more about the hardware that is running the game and not the games problem.
