we are the Driver-4.com team from http://www.driver-4.com ( site under construction, V3 will be released soon )

Many people think the next Driver is called Driver 5, but that's wrong, the next Driver is Driver 4.
First of all, this picture from Driver: Parallel Lines says us the next Driver will probably be Driver 4:



Well, it musn't be Driver 4, the next Driver could also be Driver: Parallel Lines 2, but why would they make an easteregg about a Driver that will only come out after the next Driver ?
Here you can download and watch a video where Gareth Edmondson says "Driver: Parallel Lines is NOT Driver 4 !".

So at the moment they are more chances that it will be Driver 4.

Now let's come to the name sites like IGN are using, 'DRIVER PS3'. That's not okay, because Driver-4.com and Drivermadness.net found this

It was this year. They were looking for Storyboard artists. And give a look at this:
"to work on games being developed for Xbox360 and PlayStation 3."

And we know, now that Reflection sold Stuntman, that they are only working on the next DRIVER. Now we are like 75% sure this is the next Driver, and if it is, you can't call it DRIVER PS3, because it will be released for XBOX360 too.

Not to be a nudge, but the only way we could possibly know what will be in the next Driver game is what Ubisoft-Reflections will official announce. So far, they said it will come out for the PS3 and XBOX 360. But there's no official news yet about it called "Driver 4" (or any other news). So we shall wait and see for now...

Well… we won't call it Driver working title or next Driver for maybe a year with our special connections we are about 80% sure it'll be Driver 4 Trust us

Driver 4 yes, I agree. The main reason I sometimes use the words Driver 5 is so there's no confusion with DPL from some fans.

Driver 4. Not sure after 3 if they should keep going with numbers, like MegaMan 8. Subnames like "Stuntman: Ignition" is better than numbers, so new fans won't feel they're missing out or getting on the boat too late.

I also agree DPL was not a true Driver sequel, considering Tanner was nowhere in sight and the style was much more cartoon styled versus realistic.

DPL did have some realistic features, but barly enough compared to DRIV3R.

I belieave that there is more chance that they will use words rather than continue with numbers due to the unsucsess of driv3r.

If we should be calling it anything at the moment it should be "Driver: Working Title"

No, we are for Driver 4 ! because this will maybe influence Relfections.

By the way, the next GTA is GTA 4, not GTA 9 so why should it be Driver 5 ?

Because people count Driver Parallel Lines as Driver 4 (wrong) but they don't count GTA Vice Cit y as GTA 4, GTA San Andreas as GTA 5, etc.

So I said the next GTA is GTA 4 not GTA 9, and only because a game is the fith in a serie that doesn't mean that it'll be #5.

Even if they call Driver 4 something like Driver: Tanner Returns, or something like that, the Driver 4 website will still be effective for covering the game, as long time fans will know it's the fourth true game in the series, if Tanner's included that is. If he's not in it, not sure it's a true sequel, like DPL wasn't with TK.

If the next Driver won't be called Driver 4 it won't be Driver 4. And the Driver after this Driver will be Driver 4.

However, as soon as the V3 of Driver-4.com is released thigs will be more clear and easier to understand.
The only problems is, that we have problems with the server, but we'll change soon.

[b]Remember that you can post us your ideas for the next Driver all the time (cities, vehicles, characters, artworks,… everything you want) and we'll put that on the new version of our site, the V3.
