I've used a mouse pan program for some time and now i'm considering a TIR.

I've seen videos and read the literature, which is all very intriguing, but i wanted to see more from a person who has really mastered their TIR technique, so please post some ntrks or video of yourself in a turn fight or in a tighter situation.
Most videos i've seen show casual panning, almost like you'd be site seeing. So i'm just interested to see how the product performs under tighter situations.
I get the impression you move your head to pan, but looking over my shoulder would mean i'm no longer facing the screen. I realize there must be settings for this, that accelerate the pan or limit its range.

So please show me video or ntrk of some neat pans.

This would give me a better idea of its potential.

Using a mouse smoothing program, I can follow planes really well in and out of stall spins, as well as in turn battles with less than 70 degrees FOV.
So having the videos with TIR in play would make it easier to compare.

also:

Please don't only respond with a reply about how wonderful TIR is. I'm sure its great. Now please show me. ntrks will do or vids if you got em.

thanks again.

Bill

Zero vs Wildcat.Dunno if it meets your criteria, anyway it a common dogfight TIR use for me.I noticed that the 6DOF views did not work during playback...ah well.Regarding facing the screen,I move my head just a tiny bit to each side as that can be set from almost none to laaaarge headmovements.

Um, what does TIR stand for? I can usually track planes pretty smoothly using the default mouse setup (with the mouse in my left hand), although it is a bit of a pain switching from the mouse to the throttle.
