Got it! took about 40 min to download, but my dodgy connection held. I'm backing up my current working (with mods) install to another HD, so I can do a complete reinstall, patch to 4.08, patch to 4.09, and then torpedo a British carrier or something...

I haven't felt this excited since I was a kid.
