I shoot a lot of trap and sporting clays as well as do a lot of waterfowl and upland hunting, and I find that shotgunning aerial targets and shooting at planes in the sim to be really similar. I remember reading that most fighter training schools had a skeet range to teach the fundamentals of leading targets and deflection. Still, you need about twice the lead in the sim as you do in real life, cause ducks don't fly at 300mph!
