US, that's a good one as well (The *exterior* modeling on the cockpits is insane (and a first, as far as I know), but the spit pit and 110 are what really made it for me (possibly because I've got a soft spot for 110s these days).

It shows how forward looking the engine is. Oleg is not just thinking of BOB.
Objects are already in place for map making. The sun glint and shadows are far ahead of anything IL2 engine can do, they look amazing. What a bloody day for my internet connection to go on the fritz.

Spit cockpit is sublime. Terrain is not what I expected at all, though in fairness this is Alpha. The colour of the grass needs serious work, but Oleg knows this already so hopefully all will be well. I was actually expecting shots that would blow the English landscape of "Birds of Prey" out of the water....slightly worrying at a 80% + completion stage (as he said a while back).
At the moment, BOP landscape looks far superior. Please god, let me be wrong......(I KNOW I am wrong! I'M WRONG ALL THE TIME. *rocks back and forth in foetal postion lol).  The shots of the sunset through the clouds are very nice. |
