These days I see very few...

Perhaps some of you guys are using different online HL nicks?

Or simply don't play the game any more?

Yes I play under a different nick,my skills are too good and I wouldn't want to embarrass anyone.

Because complaining about energy retention and .50 cals takes a lot of time.

Don't have the game, or even a stick as far as that goes.

Well, for myself I have a 3 year old and a demanding woman. Don't get much free time (apart form when I'm at work), but tonight I get some hours free so I'm going to go and do some waltzing in WC.

Where I'll do very badly since it's about two weeks since I last flew anything, and the muscle memory will have gone to pot.

Hi Buzz,

I left the game with a friend in China before moving here. Same goes with the stick. My plan was to buy the 1946 dvd and a new stick. I drove to the next city just for the game, ram, and a stick. This huge computer store chain didn't have the game, or any other game I asked for although they have isles and isles of games. To pour salt in my wounds, they wanted 100USD for 1Gb ram. Not wanting to set myself up to go postal, I just gave up and left.

It's not a priority right now but it is on my 'to-do' list.

But I doubt anyone would see me online anyway. I strongly dislike HL. It seems most of the forum regs fly there.

With my sweet satellite ping of ~1200-2000ms, you won't see me online. The population density here is too low for the cable company to make any money running broadband lines. DSL ends about three miles away.

I guess it's a mixed blessing. While there's no substitute for human competition, the online gaming world is full of jackasses, and I certainly don't miss them. And I have more time to do skins.

Confusion at rest!..from all I've read in here about HL, I think I would prefer a lan game with some buddys, who knows?

Too bad we live on opposite sides of the globe!

I didn't fly for quite some time, until just a few weeks ago. I usually fly on WarClouds under this or my alternate nick, depending on which side I am flying for.

I havent been playing for the past few mpnth, been playing some other games like WW2Oline (free trial)

But I have reinstalled the game and was online breifly yesterday on the SOV server in ordere to set up my controls again.

Will be online again soon, hopefully see you guys there. I am very out of practice, having got used to the WW2 online flight. IL2 feels a bit strange at first. (Far better FM tho of course, WW2OL is very primitive, still good fun tho)

What doy ou guys think of WW2 OL? Theres a free two week trial to anyone who wants to try it out.

Every once in awhile I get the urge to kill a human on hl...usually around the full moon

I was flying with the 23/33 RAF. GREAT squadron that was, until we lost quite a few members over time to things in life that came up, and we really didn't have enough members to continue flying.
I then flew briefly with 3./JG51. They are a really good outfit as well, but due to some recent things that came up for me, I was not able to fly as often as they got together, and feeling badly about this, I told them that I would not be able to continue to fly with them
Now I fly with the 457FS whenever I can.
My new nick on HL is 457FS_Choctaw if you want to look for me there.

I don't play more because my internet is not very good for online games, at least on dayligth.

she stay ok after 11 pm. but, the problem I are normally speeping on this time. I don't work, I don't do nothing, but are normally sleeping by this time.

worst, I are with a problem with my joystick wich make's my aircraft banking, making fligth difficult.

these are my barriers to play more online. today was a day where a miracle happen and I could play in the afternoon. but, normally cannot.

I gonna moved soon and will put a better internet (my is radio). so, I expect I will at least not have problems with my ping.

Its sunny, and soon summer will be here so i will probably not play that much in a couple of month.
