Thanks again Zues-Cat. just ta let ya know, The first two take-0ffs in mission #1 went A Ok. I kept the A/C on the runway. After that a series of mishaps, over compinsating on the stick and rudder peddles. That takes practice.

As for other missions let me think on that.
With my comcast account I havea web page account never used. I was think of making it a
Nugguts Flight School page, dedicated to Nugguts learning to fly this simmulation with training missions fore each type of aircraft.

I have found that the cockpit arrangement guide to be very useful in learning the instruments.

I got ta ask Ya a Bomber or fighter jock, which do you prefer? I would guess bomber, by the missions you have created.

I prefer ground-pounding, but can hold my own in a fighter if I have to.

The aircraft for my campaigns were chosen specificaly because no one else was likely to make campaigns for them. Also, they are NOT fighters, which in my opinion gives the mission builder a lot more options.

I am currently working on a B-25 skip-bombing campaign and I have an He-111 torpedo campaign half finished too.

suggest you put the 3 typical questions on the first page for the Nuggets.
we're still recieving that kind of questions. not that its wrong to ask but it would be easyier just to say: read the nuggets guide.
an exellent tread.

Gunsight cover - Cntrl D
Gunsight view - Shift-F1
Torque - Lock tailwheel and counter rudder.

Hey Bearcat,
A SimHQ moderator named Stormtrooper or Stormdick or something removed my Newbie's Guide for IL2 Online Dogfighting today from SimHQ because he objected to my images (which I didnt even know were objectionable). He removed all my photos this morning without any forewarning or private message and then began to erase or ban me as I posted what was going on and he cut off communication by private message as well. The link in your Nuggets Guide needs to be relinked or removed. I will try to get my guide up somewhere else soon, and then give you the new link.

Sorry about the problems,
Jay

Zeus-cat,

I got TrackerIR, works great helps on those practice take offs. I also have my old E-machine T2245 networked and running MadBran's IL2 Virtual Cockpit. As I said those take offs are getting a little more easy.

A possible comment for helping people get started with regards to online play:

Try to pick a server that is running a smaller map. It isn't any fun if you have to fly for 10 minutes and then you get shot down while you are trying to learn to play.
