After getting the hang of basic flight, thanks bear for the guide and the tips, im wondernig whats the best way to maintain energy whilst executing a manouver? i notice when performing various rolls i loose speed and momentem, does this come with practice and are there any tips? thanks

Small and gentle movements of the stick generate the same type movements of the control surfaces. Excess Control surface deflection causes drag that can slow your plane down. Try that for starters.

Yeah, always be gentle with the stick. In particular, don't pull it back too hard.

Eventually, it will come with experience.

Also, if you're doing, say, 400kp/h and need to make a quick u-turn, conserve energy by pulling up and loosing speed ( = converting much of your kinetic energy to potential energy) before turning.
