I found a fun new pastime in IL2 yesterday-set up in the QMB an airfield attack on the Okinawa map from the Axis side, and practice flying under and looping the bridges on the rivers next to the airbase. Lots of fun-my goal now is to loop the bridge in every flyable plane (might be impossible in the TB3 and He-111 though!) Another goal-see if it's possible to fly through the gap between the 1st pylon and the road side of the bridge-haven't managed it yet!
If you enjoy flying under bridges you might want to try the "Aerial Acrobatics" mission on level 4 of the "Two Minutes to Action" series. There are 8 bridges with a marked path from one to the next. If you download the Misc. US, Misc. UK and Misc. Axis Versions then you will find the mission available for many different planes (the coop versions, which comes with the download, has even more of a variety of planes than available in the single player versions).
There is also a new "Advanced Obstacle Course” on level 6, but so far only the Corsair is available (for this tough course I am mainly using the SpitFire LF Mk Vb CW until I get it better mastered). If you are not familiar with changing planes and you want to fly in something besides the Corsair then you will have to wait until the Misc. US, Misc. UK and Misc. Axis Versions are updated to include the new level 6 missions (or you could email me with a requested plane).
good hunting to all, =Blindman=

You can find smokestacks and other obstacles to fly through, over, around and between on the new “Advance Obstacle Course” on the new Difficulty Level 6 of the Two Minutes to Action series available on the above-mentioned link.

In the original IL2 Sturmovik game, someone posted a .trk file (note: NOT a movie, it was a recorded mission) of an I-16 looping the bridge tail first (i.e. BACKWARDS!!!). Tails slides are not as easy now as they were in the original game but that is was just awesome!!

I had almost forgot about that track, I remember seeing it in youtube once. That´s a no no in 1946, you could do some crazy things back then. And if I remember correctly the I-16 was one of the easiest to fly bacwards.
