Would have been nice to see a few more from this side of the pond instead of all of the Thomas Tanks and the Token Auz yet again, that way there would of been someone to moderate whilst the mods are tucked up in bed with their Horlicks and Rupert the Bear Manuals..........
One Dutch guy does not make for 24 hour and fair moderating.......

We wanted that too and asked some and we did get one, FoolTrottle so its a step. I guess most you blokes are smart enough not to accept such a job.

But 3 more Americans is just onesided and top heavy, it sort of biases the forums, Imagine a debate on say the US involvement in some war anywhere in the OT, with a spread of mods then the thread would have a chance of staying up, with one European and a rare visit from AUZ, the forum would become biased.

A bit like we had on discussions on the British WW2 historical contexts we had when that thread was banned by an American.

And I'm trying to think when I last saw Tully in here....

If there is any concern about geographic bias you might feel better knowing I am in the UK

edit - I've just read that back and should add I'm not suggesting anyone would be biased lol only it might make you feel better knowing the balance is more than you think

But lets face it, you are in here less than the last incumbent in your position, and you cannot exactly do every UBI forum can you.

Six US mods, One Canadian, one Dutch, and one Auz that makes less appearances than willow the wisp isn't exactly a geographical spread and we have had threads before cancelled on a US Bias.

No, as much as I would like to be superwomen you are quite right that I am not. However IF anyone here had any genuine concerns about how the forums were moderated just as on any other forum they are quite within their rights to bring that to my attention, and I can, do and will follow through any concerns

Don't worry TT we have a list and this is being worked on, were just lucky to get the 5 we did.

We've lost CrazyIvan,Steve,Targ in the last few months, and Tully and I have had career changes taking our time. So spots needed filled ASAP.

The list is short, for sure, its hard to find the level headed, none arrogant/fighting/opinionated types in this forum, and then yet convince them to do the job.

Well in the event anyone did bring such things to my attention they would need to be specific and supported with links. A general 'I think they will be biased' doesnt give me any grounds to check up on people

Nationalism aside as if they're selected then it should mean IT DOESN'T MATTER AS THEY'RE NOT BIASED.............
