I'd just like to explicitly thank the guys involved in creating the new standard skins we've got with 4.09. They are a tremendous improvement!

Loving the new VVS skins

And the new 109 skins are a hoot! The MiG skins make it a whole new airplane.

One word: Terrific! Online play is ok with me for a deceent time.

Still, there are a/c looking that dated I can't believe no one had been offered to re-skin them: Ju-87, Hurries, He-111s. Wait, is this a no-BoB before a fortnight conspiracy???

The Heinkel He-111, along with a few other planes like the P-39, still have their original il2-demo skin from 8 years ago. It's not surprising it looks like poo compared to other planes.

The skin pack replaced some of the oldest skins we had in game, that's why it is such a large improvement.
