Hello folks!

This topic is about a curiosity from my part. Do you know any girl that fly in IL2 and thefore likely enjoy military aviation or, if you are yourself one, can you share your experiences with us?

If you can find Billfish, challenge her online. LOL!

When people take a plane out to see what it can do they really find what they can do with it.

You obviously haven't encountered some of the more obvious women in the community or recognised that some of the meanest killers out there are women. DO NOT let your preconceptions of the "gentler" sex give you any ideas about women not being aggresive and superbly competent combat pilots.

Hmm I've had the privelege of fighting and flying with the few women flyers in the game.

This all started with >>>SarahZoom>>>> with whom taught me everything when I was a noob and then Miss Strega who showed me the secrets of the P-51 among other things and then Pussy Galore (deadly in her Zero) and Olga (the deadly Eastern theatre flyer) and KRAS (the energy fighter) plus Ladyhawk (expert to fight in her corsair) just to mention the few and of course Billfish! (whom you don't want to meet and fight in any COOP!)

They're a dangerous bunch! And would shoot most of the men down in HL down easily! These women have told me that yeah some guys do harrass them and some even behave like they're the first women they ever saw in their life! This is why other women do not have gender-based tags/names. I am sure there are alot more women in HL and there are easter european women as well as european women flyers online as well with their names under their own language/culture so it would be difficult to spot.

There is a woman whose Hyperlobby name is HD_Sarah or Sarah_Zoom. She is currently inactive but she was evaluated for the Masters List by seven different players and found to be a bada$$. She runs rings around most guys in her I-185 and she does it on closed pit too Wink

I have not talked to her but others have, and confirmed she is in fact a lady. I dont know why she is inactive now,.... maybe she got tired of shooting down dudes with small weenies Wink

(LOL Wright, you posted your bit, only 30 seconds before me Wink

Women prefer their victims to agonize for years, and still put the blame on them.

but I want let clear that this topic is intended just for research purposes. many whomens don't expose themselfs in a premoninant male enviorement because there are so much mans that one of the first things they think is try became their girlfriends and husbands. those guys just don't have any respect with a ladie and just because they saw one already start to do this. they are far more worst like wild animals I would say, because they can raciocinet and still do this. so sad thing. Nuh uh

this is an example of a Japanese whomen with a awesome talent with musical instruments that post her covers mainly heavy metal ones in Youtube. she is the most subscriber Youtube user in Japan. unfortinetely that the same happen. this video was flaged because in many times people don't have any respect with she and post vulgar terms about it in the comments. and there are many ones that keep saying that she is a man. I personally don't think she is a man, and those guys say that because they seems to cannot accept that a girl can be better then them. but just my personal opinion. I don't know any girl like that. and with all respect, would be interesting know girls that like military aviation. if you are a girl and are reading this, would envite you to share your personal likes with us. I would garantee that you going to be totally respected. just for talk abour this, not for a especific reasons to know whomens really for me, but if anyone want to talk anything about this subject would be interesting to break some ice.

Man I'm all for women being strong and taking on traditional "man" roles.

Shoot, my old lady is outside mowing the lawn right now!
I support her in all her endeavors, heck I even bought her a new mower last year, a Toro.
Yeah I know; I spoil the heck out of 'er!

I have come across several women who enjoy this sim. It has been a while so I don't recall any names.
It is a refreshing change to hear a lady's voice over comms when on a server.

Arguably, the best fighter pilot in our squadron is a woman.

My guess is that 25% of the IL-2 flying public out there is female. In the online arena some choose to reveal that they are women and some don't. I don't blame the ones that don't...lots of STUPID things get said when they do. It also seems that many of the women who do play the game are quite talented as well which does tend to enhance their reputations and sometimes creates a bit of a spectacle.

I say anyone who is interested in IL-2 should play...regardless of gender. Clearly its not a male only hobby...although it does tend to be dominated by us.

Don't think it is as high as 25% VW-IceFire.

I would think it is likely less than 5%.

We have a lady pilot in the Tigersquadron ranks, TS_Sassy. She's slumming it over in the Fighter Ace community as of late but has been doing the WW2 fighter thing for going on 10 years that I know of.

I've met a half dozen sim pilots of the female persuasion in my time online, as previously stated most (with one notable exception) dont advertise their gender. Boy or girl has no bearing on the task at hand other than to clog the chatbar with non stop queries such as " are you really a girl?" so most women who participate in male dominated venues such as IL2 quickly learn to blend in.

Danjama, be careful what you wish for. One of these days we'll bump into each other on teamspeak and I'll share a true story with you all about gamers, girlfriends and why they dont mix. Guaranteed to be a good laugh.
