Ahh!...Somebody knows the R-985, your absolutly right, I couldn't belive it, the first time I saw that I cringed, we all had or own way, but that guys lucky he didn't burn, on a cold day I never even got backfire, you never touch the throttle once she's going, I used to use the primer, worked great!

my method was to crack the throttle, prime three times, then leave the primer charged, if she started to die I would ease the primer in to keep her going, then charge it again, until she ran smooth, worked every time!
