I had great difficulty keeping up with the Tempest, be sure.

Veryhappy

However, I could actually fight in the 152C, which is a rarity for me as generally I very much dislike the late war German aircraft and their reluctance to do anything even remotely like changing direction.

Sorry mate, I've made an error, Tempest is not only 8kph faster it is about 22kph faster! I've overlooked my v4.08 speed data, it says 610kph @ SL, which seems to be within fair limits with newly released IL-2 Compares (as is TA-152 with 588kph @ SL value), so I think Tempest didn't received no FM treatments...

The 152C feels more a fighter now and much less a very fast locomotive.

If 1 vs 1 encounters are difficult for you against AI, then you must REALLY have a hard time 1 vs 1 against a good human IL2 pilot huh?

I am sorry to hear that......

I'm a happy customer.

First two points have rather something to do with DLL's, which weren't part of our (DT) work, but Olegs.
Last two points are not part of 4.09 AFAIK, at least as regarding DT's work. Means, we didn't changed anything there.

I'm glad, that you are happy though. Big Grin

Am I the only one finding the gunners on the Letov S-328 to be the most insanely accurate and cheating bastige rear gunners of all times!?

With their gun mount they can even shoot forward at an angle, and I've not only once had them hit me while racing past them a couple of hundred meters to their side and at 500+ km/h

Seriously, you think all previous IL-2 gunners have been bad? Now these are BAAAAAAAD!

Folks, I'd like to ask something to you please.

Didn't change any of my fligth controls or anything, but seems the torque in take off is less in 4.09 to me. Tongue

In 4.08 I always take off skidding, but now this seems to be reduced with some significance.

For instance, now I manage to take off falling 2, 3 or sometimes being careful already was able with not a single degree of skid!

There's nothing specified about any changes about this as far as I read, but somehow I'm still pretty curious.

Probably must be just impression of mine, but can't let to ask. Anyone also notice some more gently take off torque behavior?

great patch.a big thank you to team daidalos. it's fun to fly again. cheers!

After it was refeuled i climbed in.With many manipulations the mechcanics started the turbines.I followed their actions with the greatest of interest. The first one started quite easily.the second caught fire.In no time the whole engine was on fire.Luckily as a fighter pilot i was used to getting quickly out of the ****pit. The fire was quickly put out.The second plane caused no trouble - Adolf Galland (first time in a ME262)

I've also noticed this. I don't think they should be nearly so accurate against planes quickly passing by.

You don't have to keep up with AceAI Tempests, try this:http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=4efb613b8bb835ba6b21be4093fab7ac4f073ac6f8eef00b4d71ee60c1ce7296

Interesting Wildnoob, I've noticed this too. Another weird thing is that the elevator trim controls are reversed, i.e, what used to be nose up trim now feeds in nose down trim. No big deal though, it doesn't take long at all to fix.

I'm happy with 4.09, nice work TD! Thumbs Up

I'd be enjoying it much more if there were actually some volume of 4.09m servers on HL. Doubly so if they were using the new planes.

Quadruply so if they actually were IL2 1946 servers - we all bought the game for a reason.

And don't even get me started on the hardware biggots (falsely calling padlock "radar" because they simply want a better advantage with their damned track IR over those of us who don't/won't use it).

But anyway.... other than that, it's awesome. Smile

I too wish there were some 4.09 servers. the problem is that they all seem to be waiting for the AAA UI1.2 or something for the mods...Frown

Guys, regarding Letov's gunner, please read the 4.09 Guide. We are aware of the deadly accuracy. We hope to reduce it with a more complex AI development we have in our pipeline. So we let it be the way it is in 4.09.

The Letov's rear gun mount movement and RoF of the MGs is historically accurate. It was so flexible in real life. Unfortunatelly the sim's AI gunners are too accurate right now which is a deadly combination with Letov.

Thanks. Enjoy the patch. Smile
