My first serious attempt at a composite. Took the picture myself, borrowed the Mosquito from the last page.

How do I make the propeller spins more realistic? Tips and suggestions are most welcome!

I've just started making some composites myself.

Apparently you use a static propeller, and apply radial blur on it, if you are using photoshop.

Oh that doesnt matter. I now feel honoured to have two screenshot artists editing my shots.

You can probably expect several more shots featuring Mustangs from the 506th FG from me in the near future...

This picture was made by request of the family of the plane's pilot, 2LT Robert B Harvey. Robert Harvey was lost on the infamous Black Friday June 1st mission, where quite a few Iwo-based P-51s were lost trying to fly through a large storm on the way to Japan. This particular rendering is only partyl historical, as there are no known pictures of the plane or it's nose art. All that is known is the serial number and the (probable) side number.
