GoGamer says today (December 16). It looks like there isn't much of a real 'push' with the major retailers, like Gamestop. GoGamer lists it as a "UK Import".

This is just one more reason people stay loyal to GoGamer - they deliver up the games we want, even when U.S. publishers don't have the balls to offer them to us.

GoGamer may be the only place that we in the US can get it. I tried several European vendors, and none were importing to the US or Canada--not even Amazon.uk. I did see another vendor mentioned (WNS?), but I'm not familiar with them.

I had the same problem, with another order tho.
It was because i used my PO Box and not a physical address to have something sent to.

IDk if thats the problem, but it could be a start

Awesome. I'm in the U.S. and pre-ordered my copy back in November for $39.99. I just got a confirmation email that my order has finally been processed. I checked my bank account and there was a withdrawal for $45.58 which confirms they honored the original price advertised (plus tax and shipping) at the time of my preorder. That's good business practice. I was worried they'd cancel or up the price on me. I'll be sure to look to GoGamer for future business because of their honesty and good prices.

I just checked my order with gogamer and found my order had been canceled - no email, no nothing. Some 'security reason'... and all the info is correct with them. And now the price is up to $49.90. It may be the first and LAST time I order with them if this is a way for them to stop honoring the $39 pre-order price I originally had... only the round of emails and phone calls I will be doing with tell the answer to that question.

swiss...mine was cancelled too for the same reason. I did receive an e-mail explaining tho. It says that if we ahve to reorder that teh former price will be honored. read this and do as Json says and you'll get an e-mail back as to waht to do.

I walked into E.B. Electronics today to buy my daughter a Ray Man pc game for Christmas. And there sitting behind the sales counter were several copies of IL2 1946. What can I say, I did a bad thing and bought 1946 for myself instead of Ray Man. My plan is to wrap it up when no one is around and slip it under the tree as an anonymous gift to 'Pappa'.

By the way, it costs 399 kroner over here ($39.90, I think) - I'm in Norway.

Jason called me at home a bit ago... was after 7pm his time, but he said he was staying late to correct all the snafu's with 1946. Seemed a LOT of orders were canceled. Anyways, even after my earlier email stating I was set to go, he dug deeper and found that was NOT the case. After talking with him he had me re-order the game (all 4 copies for my friends) and gave me a one time use coupon code to get the price back down to the original pre-order price!

nice to see good customer service, and NOT a ploy to get a higher price for the games! I'll definately be using them more often...

EDIT: I just got an automated email - my order is on hold pending verification, which could take up to 48 hours!! Geezus... why me? LOL I think they need to update their ordering system/software...

well i gotta say this... i just now got a notification email (1230 am, est) saying mine shipped, and if those folks are still working thats dedication..

im glad to see my fears were unfounded.

Anybody know if the "SFS" trick will still work to allow switching back to former versions?

After all the hassle, I got notice I'm expecting!

I was emailing with Jason as late as 11:30 (his time!) to get this resolved... that IS dedication. Once he found out what the problem was - on their end- he got it taken care of fast. Nice to see some real customer service in this day and age.

Interesting. Like Scrapper, above, I ordered mine from GoGamer back in November and I have received email confirmation my order is being shipped - at the original $39.99 price plus tax and shipping - in my case a total of just over 42 bucks. They have debited by credit card for that amount. So I am happy!

I ordered mine from Gogamer.com 2 days ago... (my first gogamer purchase) I live in Georgia, USA...

It shipped AND was delivered in 2 days from the UK for only $8 (shipping)!!!

WOW! All I can say is ... amazing! It went from the UK to California to Memphis to Chattanooga to my house in only 2 days!!!

Amazing! I will order from them again!

just an update- talked with Jason a couple of times. I now have 4 copies of the game in my hands! (Merry Christmas to a few friends...)

Seems that because I ordered 4 copies, and the total was over $100 there was a system check that put the order on hold until it was verified. But no email was sent to me, so five days later the order was canceled.

All is well now...
