If someone sells a painting of a real airplane, are they ripping off the manufacturer?

If it were actually a painting then no,
but if they print a copyrighted photo
or pass a video game screenshot as an original oil painting then you are trying to rip someone off

LMAO I think that's one of VP's skins. I wonder if the guy that cribbed the screenshot realizes he put his "thinking oil painting" right where the HUD goes?

I think this guy is just demonstrating what will be painted on the canvas using the IL2 screenshot. Read the item description carefully. I don't think there is a problem if they do the painting by hand.

I've seen scanned painting printed on canvas that has been made to look like oil paint (ridges that look like brush strokes) Probably is the same thing.
