Some selected Aviation Art for you using screenshots from airplanes taken in IL-2 Flight sim game.
Good day everyone. Glad to see you again I never posted these on this forum before, but since I have had some requests, here are some aviation art scenes I have created for everyone to enjoy. They are not for sale. Only meant to be shared with the aviation fans. Feel free to visit all your friends and aviation artists and see all their works at screenshotworld.com
I hope you like these. There is alot more in my gallery-album. Cheers MAX~theHitman
Interesting combination of photography and...? can`t get good enough res to see. Nice stuff anyway. I always wondered why I never saw more people put up art stuff here.
-My favorite was "No Escape" (F4U shooting at A6M over the small island). Judging by the size of the building, and the range estimated therefrom, the dual lines of bullet splashes were too far apart.
-The Tempest firing at the Me-262 had the wrong perspective. It's obvious that the converging tracer streams are "forced" quite noticeably to converge toward the target. The Tempest's orientation would have the tracer streams traveling much more parallel and upward. (Follow the lines of all guns to se this.) And yes, I'm aware that under "G" tracers appear to arc noticeably, but here the effect is exaggerated.
Again, very nice work! In most images the lighting angles are pretty well matched.
Thank you all for your kind reviews. I am glad you liked these. There are a few more in my gallery/album if your interested to see and print for yourselves. Thanks also for those good suggestions about some of the works. I will re-work them out to be perfect By the way, some of the airplanes might not be in teh actual IL-2 game, but with some patience and a little photoshop magic I can always create the desired airplane for the image. See you later everyone
I'm into photoshop and digital imaging, but I have no idea how you do this. Would you mind sharing some of your secrets and perhaps what programs you use? Thanks!
