so the bit with the first modern bomber, I would think over. Of course the G3M1 is navy IJN not IJA.

But we not talking about IJA bombers?

I was specifically referring to them, like apparentely you as well.

Should had written "the first army modern domestic bomber" to not cause any confusion, though.

Some of the comments posted is a good example why Oleg is so reluctant to post screens of unfinished objects. Oleg knows they are not 100% and he has informed us many of times. But, a few just can not help themselves. We all know...there is no need to prove your intelligence on historical accuracy. It does not come across as cute or witty. Closer to obnoxious.

Don't agree, I would hope that he does read these comments, because it might turn up something that hasn't been noticed yet by Olegs team...

I know it helps to show WIP shots to others not involved with it, take Magpies Whirly, we've made sure that it's been given an airing after every major update and welcome constructive criticism to ensure we get it right before it's finally released...

Just have to think of criticism in a positive light... Wink2

I love the sunlight, especially on those boats.
Got to say though, please turn on anti-aliasing for the screenshots. I read somewhere that whatever system they're running in doesn't allow it but come on! These amazing images, particularly for a FLIGHT SIMULATOR no less, aren't shown of to their full effect, I think.
Anyway, enjoying the updates.

actually havok the obnoxious one here is you.

We were just having some harmless fun. Lighten up will you. I will point this one thing out thou for you since you don't seem to be aware of it.

ever heard of the word "game patches" IMO, if oleg who we all dearly respect and appreciate I am sure and other sim developers got their respective target audience buyers more involved in the process of game development by posting some development screenies and asking for opinions of what is right and wrong with the aircraft and equiptment shown and the scenery developed this would go along way to lessen the need for so many game patches we all have to wait eons to get after we purchase the game. IMO there are some of the smartest aircraft and ww 2 historians right here on these boards who's excellent knowledge is just being wasted quite often. I am often quite amazed at the collective aircraft knowledge shown here.

It would also lessen the need for so many redos. Isn't this what we all want after all?

Of course this is only my opinion.

+10 Stalkervision!

That guy rather has hundreds of posts of "Droll" "fantastic" "OMG I wet myself" etc. than that people talk about the aircraft.

Oh well that kind you have everywhere. Angry Blue Guy

Nice, like the water especially. The top down shot of the fishing boat shows another order of magnitude of detail in the water than I've seen elsewhere.

Kind of Oleg to put a pie-munching Spitpilot in the cockpit to make it look cramped, always thinking of those sensitive Lufty's. Glomp

Three updates in three weeks. Smile

Got to appreciate Oleg and his teams effort to keep posting pics.

The water and boats / ships are well done. Nice reflections and detail.

I learned something new about the BR 20. And the 100 octane call to Moscow I was laughing.

The guys over in 1C saw the spit pilot pictures and then commented on his jacket and said the jacket was inaccurate.

Since game design is alot of compromise, I would rather want accuracy to be directed towards the weapons systems, flight models, damage models . . .

But this is opening the dialogue. I mean Oleg n Co are human and they will make mistakes.

And its funny what people do sometimes with them. Like how someone did the jurassic park photoshop in the original 10-23 sets.

This is fun, a new game is coming out and we watching history in the making.

Some of the shots the the previous update were amazing. The way that the cloud looks with the sun shining through them brought a big smile to my face, as well as many other things, but the clouds in the one screenie were just gorgeous.

I know nothing about the type of fuel used, but found an interesting discussion about use of 100 octane fuel in BoB:

Exactly my point Major - despite some interesting input, the usual suspects with their usual input - makes one wonder if they save it all to cut and paste whenever the opportunity arises. Must be more to life than attempting to hobble one side or another in a computer game for your own advantage. Look at my plane - it's uber!

You only have to ask any RAF pilot who was in the BOB and they will tell you that they used 100 octane throught he battle.

Others say how they were very greatful for stocks of 100 octane fuel sent from the USA, which they used through the BOB.

Just ask the pilots, they know what fuel they used. No need for all this back and forth arguing and trying to guess what context the letters are used in.
