Yeah the links dead.
 Pity, it was an excellent little snippet of colour film of pilots larking about in 1942. Apparently the cameraman 'liberated' the film he used from photo reconnaissance stores.RedToo. And I was going to download it too! But all I ever got to see was the still of the pilot sitting it what I took to be a Chipmunk. It never would play for me. Then they pulled it.
What are you Brits paying your TV fees for if this is the service you get? Bugger! Oh well Top Gear is on next week so its not all bad. |

Nice little movie - now residing at Plymouth University. Lots of references to it, but all lead back to the (removed) BBC link.
 The search continues...as a little diversion, put 'Spitfire' into the BBC search window - some interesting stuff there. |
