Occupation troops are ordered to enter a village on the border:

This farm and it's crops are burned to the ground by occupation forces by order of the local party secretary. Although no evidence was found, it was suspected of providing safe haven to ethnic Slovakians and Poles fleeing Russia:

yeah , the I-153 is a tank . a bullet sponge

its slightly faster & climbs slightly better , but it cant hang with a Gladiator turning . beating up on J8A's is NOT easy

Not easy if you try to dogfight a J8A with a I153 ... but it's not the right tactic.

It's like if you were trying to dogfight a zero with a Spit. The spits stays superior to the zero like the I153 is superior to the J8A, unless you make the mistake to enter a turnfight ...

Great landscapes, by the way Thumbs Up !!!

Bullet sponge is correct. For an open pit biplane, the sheer volume of .303 it soaks up is...rather interesting.

I'm following this thread closely!

Very nice work, you've created a very immersive little world there!

Great idea

one minor remark
You probably should use either Czechoslovak markings or slovak ones, but not both in the campaign.

Did I not make myself clear?

This is nothing but a fake/alternate history campaign that is really just an excuse to fly biplanes 10 feet off the ground in a video game.

I was also using this map to test out a populated Slovakia map template that could be made available (without a campaign) for those mission builders that would like to download it by itself and use it for their own campaign.

That's all it is folks...it's not a history lesson, and it's not a primer on what truck was parked next to what building on August 3rd 1937 or what exact markings were on any airplane at that time.

That is all.

FW190fan

Any chance you could send me this I-153 skin with the red on white (or is it silver?)?

And are those the new bomb skins that I see in this picture:?

That truck is clearly parked incorrectly for the period, CUJO. Totally kills the immersion.

Anyway, which mod are those truck skins in - I've never seen them.

Big Grin

The truck skin is one of Fisneaky's old mods...don't know what ever happened to the original d/l but I may still have the files if you are interested in them.
