So the updated flight models are new?
I already have these, but with the old FMs then?

The old mig 15 used the mig 9 flight model

The XP-86 that was out had the P-80's fm.

The new ones are custom made for these planes

Why do they like to use the P-80 cockpit for so many planes? First the Panther, now the F-86. The Panther can almost be gotten away with but the pit of a 86 looks nothing like that.

I'll wait for the full Korean War mod, and CRT=2 compatibility for online.

And real cockpits, though I doubt that will happen.

Freddy is working on a new sabre cockpit,it looks pretty good too I think.The mig 15 cockpit is at least closer then the sabre's(not sure which plane its from though)

One thing I love about these jets is the sensation of 'hitting the breaks' you get when deploying airbrakes and cutting the throttle, you can decelerate like crazy, and you need to be careful not to overdo it or even the props can get in a snapshot, as in real life. In fact I'd say F-80s and F-84s are actually easier to shoot down because the speed difference isn't as dramatic.

The Mig cockpit is taken from the Mig-9 with a new gunsight, I'm guessing the original had a lead computing one.

As for Freddy's pit, it looks beautiful, however there's something about the contrast he gives the instruments that make it kind of cartoony, not necessarily a bad thing, just saying.

Damn, I may have to get out "Mig Alley" after seeing this thread.

The aircraft don't look quite as good but the cockpits are first class as is the AI in it.

I know what you mean W/P. I'm that way too. I need the original "pits" before I would D/load them.

Oleg has spoiled us both.

Ill pm you guys or put up a post when they're done, but it wont be for a while as far as I know.

(I still haven't gotten 4.09, the UI1.1 or 1.2, or any other big things. I got the sabre and mig from school but i cant use them yet because i dont have ui1.2) Its killing me!!!
