Guys,
Can any of you give me an idea why I get such awful lag on this game? PC Spec: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6000) (6000.vista_gdr.071009-1548) BIOS: Default System BIOS Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz Memory: 2814MB RAM Page File: 1091MB used, 4731MB Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 10 Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 7050 256mb Having started a new game the cursor takes an age to move around and the whole thing is so choppy - it played better on my lower spec pc! Any ideas? Jay |

I believe your video card is integrated and sapping off memory from the system RAM.
A dedicated video card would work better. I would reccomend a Radeon 3870 or an Nvidia 9600XT. EDIT: yes, it's an integrated chip. Here is one of the best, if not the best, 9600XTs under $200. Here is one of the best, if not the best Radeon 3870 under $200. I have a Radeon 3850 with 256MB VRAM, and it runs Vegas 2 fine. |

Thanks man - it is an integrated card - I'll get it sorted!

Any suggestions for a low profile PC? 99% of the current video cards on the market will not fit inside my PC and I am experiencing the same latency. Very frustrating. I am considering a Visiontek Radeon HD 2400 Pro Video Card - 256MB DDR2, PCI Express, DMS-59, TV Out, Video Card to replace the XFX GeForce 8400 GS Video Card - 256MB DDR2, Supporting 512MB, PCI Express, DMS-59, HDTV, Video Card I currently have. Maybe they are too much of the same card.
A new PC is not an option =) |

Here is a very good source for comparing cards.
There is a little red arrow that you can click on to select the game or test. http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/desktop-vga-charts/d...2C1619%2C1557%2C1584 |
