Some time ago I had Raven Shield installed on my laptop.
Now I wanted to install again, but when I insert the install CD I am prompted to uninstall. Choosing this I get the following error message:

Running regedit I háve removed anything regarding ubisoft/red storm entertainment/R6/rainbow six/raven shield. But still it will not work???

Can you see Raven Shield in installed programs list?

I just tried uninstalling this game the other day and I am having the same problems. My friend said to check the registries for the game and try deleting or changing the values. So bump for now, I'ma save my registry and try some stuff.

The uninstall Registry Entries are as follows for Ravenshield:

HKEY_LOCAL)MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Red Storm Entertainment\RAVENSHIELD

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{AF131494 - F5D8 - 45C5 - 938C - D5F020CF1B0D}

Try removing these two from the registry and see if you are able to re-install.

Note - if you are unsure how to properly remove keys from the registry, try using a registry cleaner. Removing the wrong items from the registry could cause serious problems on your PC.

To enter the registry editor:

1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Type REGEDIT in the textfield, then press OK

Windows Vista is not a supported OS with this software, these intructions are for Windows XP users.
