I installed and updated the game to version 1.01 on my Windows Server 2003 machine and followed the R6VegasServerReadme.txt instructions. Problem: The server can not login. It always says "Login failed" and the server windows closes automatically. But: This ubi.com account is working and correctly entered. All ports are open. Firewall is disabled. Now I need your help! Who set up a dedicated server on a Windows (Server 2003) machine and got it to work? What can I do? Community and Ubisoft, please help!

You have to login to a client once with the account you're using for the server then it will work.

I'll try. On which machine do you run your server, TheNinjaboy?

I've logged into the client with the account I am trying to use with my server, but I still get a login failed error.

Like I said, "Login Failed" just as the opening post. And like I said, I've logged into the client, and of course, Ubi.com

Thanks for your help, but other than that I dont know what I could provide you.

I'm getting the same thing. I see the following two lines:

Log: PhysX chip version = 0
Log: PhysX chip version = 0

Then I get the GPF, with nothing in the History.

I know I'm using the correct login

Did you try launching it a second time? If the server crashes to a GPF (usually due to a Punkbuster Kick) then it will automatically give you a GPF when you start the server up again.

Just start it up a second time and you won't get that GPF.
