Hey all.Sorry in advance for the long post. Did a bunch of researching this issue but no luck fixing it. Game was working fine with my old video card ,ati hd3650. Ever since i installed an ati hd4870 , The in game sounds got real bad. No ai voices or gunfire in single player . Also multiplayer is almost same as the audio goes in and out. I also installed a pci-e fatality x-fi sound card which i ruled out to be the prob cause i reformatted the pc and only used the onboard soundmax drivers with the new video card and same glitches happened. My buddy is running the game fine with the occasional machine gun bug which is common. He has an xfx 8800 card. Is the ati card causing this to happen?The older hd3650 worked fine. Im running an asus p5q-e mobo, q6600, 4 gig pc1000 gskill ram, zaleman 750 watt psu. If anybody got any suggestions i would appreciate it.

Strange!! The video card should have nothing to do with sound!

There is a known sound bug in Vegas 2.
Many solutions have been tried, but not many sucessful.

I'm sure Ubisoft is hard at work on this problem and will release a fix next Nevuary!!!
