We are currently investigating the issue of some players having their ranks being reset on X360. It would expedite our investigations if those affected could answer the questions below in this thread:

1. What rank had you attained pre reset?

2. How many controllers do you have connected to your system?

3. What activity did you have on your Xbox between you last session and finding your rank reset (I.E. played another game, watched a movie, downloaded something)?

4. Did the reset occur after a lengthy session or several shorter play sessions?

4. I was playing for a long time one wed. then on Thursday i didn't play, then i got on Friday and my rank was reset.

can ubisoft get my rank and achivements back?

3. i was playing a coop mission and shut-down my console afterwards, then it was gone.
4. neither, it was random. although i had lost my prefrences (i.e.- guns, armor, facial expressions, etc)

but their better be a fix for this plus some xp fortheamount i lost. Because this was a great game and this error just ruined the expeince with the game

4.About 4 twenty minute games, and then my xbox was off, when I got back on I was a recruit

PS. Levelup, I came to the select your gender screen, so I shut off my xbox and when I came back it was fine.

I tried

I am pretty sure you can reproduce this with:

a) Have two xbox (live) accounts on the same machine
b) Have the one you NOT play R6V2 on set to autologin
c) Log out of the account mentioned in b)
d) Log in on XBL account where you play R6V2
e) Start game
f) The game asks me to start a new char
g) Go back to dashboard (Press xbox guide button, press Yellow)
h) Restart game
i) Last rank is now available (ie no sex selection available; ie. it is correct)

2. 1, wireless. Also happened later with 2 wireless.

3. Only Rainbow Six: Vegas 2. Multiplayer.

4. Both short and long sessions.

I got reset again, after being reset from Senior Master Sergeant the first time I worked up to corporal, and got reset AGAIN!

I just want to know, can this get fixed?

All of my aces disapeared also, I had 20 for all 3.

I would also like to know if there is any hope of me ever getting my rank and aces back. Or am I just punching air?
